Hometown
They both live in a huge busy city called "Gear Metropolis". It's an industrial city with lots of high buildings and... stuff. But there is more to it then that. Gear metropolis used to be a city full of underground experiment, on the human body. Scientists goals was to create strong abnormal humans and introduce them to the government as a substitution for regular soldiers. But how were they able to find ginea pigs? Well, there can be many ways. Some were kidnapped, others donated their body for science, or Parents sold there children in return for money. Most of the experiment succeeded in create human with special powers, but not all were given incredible powers. But since this underground lab was breaking human rights, they were targeted and shut down. But not all of the labs were found. Now the abnormal humans (or EX) were given freedom and given a chance of life. Since citizens were concern about their powers, the EX are force to where mechanical necklace to keep them from using them. Most of the EX lived in the east side of the city while higher class or regular humans lived in the west.

Personality
It's hard for Penelope to be nice. Even if she forces herself, it still would not work. But when she's off guard it's possible for her to say something nice, without herself even knowing. If she gets in to a fight she tries to negotiate with the person first. If it doesn't work out, she has no choice but to call out for Thomas. Then again, her negotiating skills are more insulting than ever. She does not like the fact that Thomas is such a softy, but at the same time she likes it. There is something strange about Penelope. She seems to know more about Thomas than anyone else. She knows something, but what can they be and what is she planning?

Thomas can be as loyal as anything. If you're nice to him (especially Penelope) he will consider you as an ally. But, beware, betray him and he will come after you like there's no tomorrow. Thomas' goal is to make Penelope happy, if she's happy then nothing matters to him. But... There is one goal he wishes to do and that is to marry Penelope (but poor Thomas though, because Penelope doesn't feel the same way). No one knows why he covers his face, but it seems like he likes it that way. Oh, and another thing Thomas will never harm a small creature... It's his weakness. ;D

Fighting Style
For Penelope, she does not fight what so ever. Literally, it's really easy to kill her. She's more of the brains of the group. So she lets Thomas do all the muscle work. But there is one advantage, when fighting. While Thomas is fighting, it's easy for Penelope to hit the opponent with Bonbon's cannon.

Thomas has the toughest job, out of all. He must eliminate the enemy while protecting Penelope. His does not have any special powers, but his strength and agility is far beyond a normal human. His weapon is just an ordinary umbrella, with a sharp lance on the tip of it. but Anything for him can be used as a deadly weapon.

The only way to win is to kill Penelope. If you kill Penelope, you can easily kill Thomas.

History
After the death of her parents (haha, very cliche) at the age of 12, Her brother, Erick, took over the family business (second best of Gear Metropolis). Soon her life when down hill, when her brother took everything that she possessed; gifts from family/friends, any pictures of their parents, simply anything that was precious to her. Of course she could buy anything she wanted, but in the end it didn't mean anything for her; it had no value to her. The reason for her brother's doing is because their parents didn't love them the same. Penelope was more loved by them then Erick, So this was a way to get back at her. Penelope's bitterness toward her brother grew and grew as she got older. He didn't let her talk to anyone outside the house and if he finds something unusual in Penelope's room he takes it away.

One day, when Penelope was wandering the city, while her brother was on a business trip. She stumble upon a man carrying a small rabbit in one of the alley way. The man didn't have a name and he barely talks, so she gave them the name of Thomas and Bonbon. They both became fond of each other, thus visits each other from time to time. Penelope devised a plan to get Thomas to work in the house, as a butler. And it worked, But Erick did not know their friendly relationship. Soon Erick found the Rabbit, that was living in her room. He tried to get rid of it (and purposely injuring it), But failed after Thomas hit his head with an umbrella. Penelope, Thomas, and Bonbon escape from the house and tries to create a new life together.
